Role: QA Analyst
Work Arrangement: Work From Home
Schedule: Morning Shift, Mid Shift

Job Description:
The QA Analyst is responsible for the development and execution of the software quality assurance strategy for the IT team in an Agile development environment. The QA Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, review, and documentation of quality control testing to ensure software systems meet business requirements and are functioning properly.
- Development and maintenance of automated/manual test scripts, test plans and other supporting documentation ensuring all project requirements are suitably tested.
- Assist in transitioning test cases from manual execution to automation.
- Collaborate effectively with development teams by participating in daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning.
- Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs
- Assist in the development of the long-term strategy for QA testing, automation testing, load testing and QA best practices
- Provide documentation to management and project team members to determine release readiness of products or product features.
- Assist with the monitoring and tracking of metrics to drive continuous improvement in migrations and release management and ensure consistency and quality
- Assist in the development of project schedules, accommodate issues, scope or timeline changes and revise work estimates to develop high quality software products
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
- Assist with the collection and reporting of quality assurance standards/metrics to inform the team of improvement areas and practices in the overall software development life cycle
- Act as liaison between business users and the project development team. Assist business users with procedures for software development projects, including requirements definition and testing.
- Facilitate project problem solving and troubleshooting of quality issues. Implement effective defect management best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledgeable in QA processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- At least 3 years of experience in creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using professional-quality, custom-developed, or industry-standard tools.
- Experience with automated API testing such as Postman or SOAP UI
- Experience with Azure DevOps or ALM tools preferred
- Experience with the Agile development methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be disciplined, dynamic, and flexible to manage multiple projects and tasks, work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines.
- Positive, self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to explain and enforce procedures independent of potential schedule constraints
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with all team members / outside parties

- Problem solving and analytical skills, ability to reason logically and provide solutions.
- Experience in the following technologies a plus: Automated testing tools and frameworks, SQL Server, C#, VB.Net, - ASP/ASP.Net, SOAP UI and Team Services.
