JOB OVERVIEW

Key Responsibilities:


Investment Analysis:
-Conduct thorough market research and financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities.
-Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
-Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations.


Due Diligence:
-Lead the due diligence process for new investments, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
-Assess risks, financial projections, and overall viability of investment deals.
-Compile and present due diligence findings to senior management and investment committees.


Investor Relations:
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors.
-Communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights through regular reporting and presentations.
-Address investor inquiries and provide timely updates on fund performance.


Investor Events:
-Organize and assist in planning investor events, including webinars, conferences, and investor days.
-Create engaging materials and presentations for investor meetings and events.
-Facilitate networking opportunities and foster a collaborative environment among investors.


Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred.
-Proven experience in investment analysis, due diligence, and investor relations.
-Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

What’s Required

4 years of experience in an investor relations role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to represent the firm and our management team with integrity, credibility, and poise, both internally and externally
A high EQ and an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
A willingness to take ownership over your work to put in the time and effort required to help the firm achieve its goals
Strong process and project management skills

??Working in a tight-knit team with a flat structure, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the evaluation of new investment opportunities across the platform.

This includes:
conduct in-depth research on market trends and sectors
conducting thorough financial analysis and desktop due diligence on investment proposals
assisting in transaction structuring, negotiation, and execution
preparing insightful investment recommendations for the investment committee
support the maintenance of a robust pipeline of investment opportunities
actively monitor existing portfolio investments to ensure their continued success.
Required Skills And Experience

Expertise in financing structures, financial analysis, and risk assessment

Tertiary degree in Business, Finance, or related field
Post-graduate qualifications such as CFA or CA
Create, update and maintain various Excel spreadsheets, models and reports tracking stock price performance, valuations and various financial metrics
Maintain investor relations CRM and various Excel databases
Recording voted meetings on the department's Excel log
Provide support for Financial Advisors and their teams whose clients own positions in illiquid Alternative Investments
Develop product knowledge – gain in-depth understanding of Direct Alternatives product offering
Investor reporting – take responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly investor reporting
Sales support – respond to inquiries from internal sales people (GSAM and PWM)
Project management and coordination of divisional initiatives in regulatory, operational and technology space
Develop and maintain tools to manage third party research consumption and conduct broker votes
Develop and maintain business reporting for revenue and expense management, funding, commission management
