Inventory & Product Sourcing Manager with Financial Analysis Expertise

We are a thriving e-commerce company specializing in health supplements sold on Amazon. We are seeking an adept Inventory & Product Sourcing Manager who brings a strong financial analysis background to enhance our inventory management and forecasting processes. This pivotal role will help us maintain optimal stock levels and manage timely product replenishments, which is crucial given our 2-3 month manufacturing lead times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Inventory Analysis and Forecasting: Leverage historical sales data and marketing insights to project future product demands accurately. Develop and implement financial models to optimize reorder quantities and timing, reducing stockouts and managing products nearing expiration.

- Strategic Inventory Management: Keep a vigilant eye on inventory levels to align stock with customer demand and internal targets, minimizing both excess and obsolete stock.

- Supplier Communication: Actively communicate with suppliers in the U.S. to negotiate terms, ensure supply continuity, and maintain quality standards.

- Product Sourcing and Negotiation: Coordinate with manufacturers to ensure timely and cost-effective product orders, negotiating terms that meet our quality standards and timelines.

- Integration of New Tools: Lead the adoption of Conative AI for inventory management, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing the tool's effectiveness.

- Continuous Process Enhancement: Continuously assess and refine sourcing and inventory strategies to align with market changes and company objectives.

- Other tasks needed: Must be open to take on projects relevant to the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, financial analysis, and product sourcing within the e-commerce environment.
- Proficiency with the Amazon Seller Platform is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
- Experience with inventory management systems, preferably including Conative AI.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers.
- Quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and methodologies, and highly resourceful.
- Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
