Position: Inventory Management Assistant (Virtual, Part-Time)

Hours: 20 hours per week
• Required Availability: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Eastern Time)
• Flexible Hours: 5 additional hours per week, to be worked at any time.

Nurse Yard is an e-commerce company specializing in compression socks and related products for healthcare professionals. We manage inventory across multiple locations, including 3PL warehouses and Amazon FBA, and use advanced tools to streamline our operations. We're looking for a skilled and experienced Inventory Management Assistant to join our team to help optimize and manage our inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management:
o Oversee inventory levels across multiple locations (3PL and Amazon FBA).
o Utilize
2. Order Coordination:
o Coordinate orders and shipments from factories in China to 3PL warehouses and Amazon FBA.
o Ensure timely replenishment of inventory while minimizing stockouts and overstock.
3. Freight Optimization:
o Collaborate with freight forwarders to plan and optimize shipping costs.
o Track shipments and ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
4. Workflow & Communication:
o Manage tasks and workflows efficiently using ClickUp.
o Maintain daily communication via Slack to address any issues or updates.
5. Vendor & Partner Communication:
o Liaise with factories, freight forwarders, and warehouses to ensure smooth operations.
o Provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders.
6. Technology Utilization:
Work with the following tools:
o Shopify for order tracking and inventory integration.
o Amazon Seller Central for FBA inventory management.
o
o Gorgias for managing customer service inquiries related to inventory or orders.
o ShipHero for warehouse and fulfillment management.
7. Reporting & Analysis:
o Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
o Assist in forecasting and demand planning to ensure optimal stock levels.

Qualifications
1. Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in inventory management or a related role.
o Experience with 3PL, Amazon FBA, and freight forwarding is essential.
2. Technical Skills:
o Proficient in inventory management tools (e.g.,
o Advanced knowledge of ClickUp for workflow and task management.
o Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Gorgias, and ShipHero is a plus.
3. Communication Skills:
o Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Clear and responsive communicator capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
4. Personal Attributes:
o Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
o Problem-solver with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
o Reliable and adaptable, with a strong commitment to the role.

Compensation
• Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience).
