Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and entrepreneurial-minded Interior Designer to join our team for a seasonal role (~3 months) with future opportunities to be full-time. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about design and can work independently to bring creative visions to life. Experience with graphic design is a plus.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates who 1) submit all materials requested below via online folder with their initial outreach, 2) send English recording, 3) have experience with Enscape (please mention this in your application)
Key Responsibilities:
Client Collaboration: Build and maintain strong client relationships primarily via written and spoken English by understanding their needs and translating them into exceptional designs.
Design Excellence: Develop interior design concepts that meet client objectives and reflect the latest trends and design principles.
Innovation: Ability to use our web-based tools. Stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies, integrating them effectively into projects when appropriate.
Autonomy: Take ownership of projects, making independent design decisions, and overseeing them from conception to completion.
Versatility: Be prepared to handle various aspects of design projects, from creative design to project management.
Organization: Ability to document and manage a variety of tasks, and help management team with general design/brand needs.
Qualifications:
Strong English speaking *Required*
A portfolio showcasing your interior design work. *Required*
Ability to produce floor plans and 3d renderings in design software. Preferred, but not required are tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape.
Prior experience with sales also preferred.
Compensation:
Competitive compensation and flexible work arrangements. $500 - $1,250 total compensation (figures include annual bonus) depending on years experience after university, English level, and part-time or full-time, or 3 month seasonal work. For instance, a designer with 4 years of experience post-university would receive $900 monthly. If you include the annual bonus of 15%, the effective monthly rate would be $1,035. Compensation for team leaders and managers at the company exceeds $1,500.
Expectations:
Next new hire is December. First 3 months with company will be part-time, and assuming strong performance, will be full-time afterward.
