JOB OVERVIEW

Type: Contractual, Project-Based
Pay: $6.00/hour

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Integration Engineer to support our team in connecting, automating, and optimizing workflows between a variety of platforms and tools. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining system integrations to ensure seamless data exchange and operational efficiency across services such as ClickUp, Homebase, QuickBooks, GoHighLevel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Telegram, and other business-critical applications.

This is a project-based contractual position, where you will be assigned specific integration tasks as needs arise.


Key Responsibilities:

Integration Development:
- Design and implement solutions that enable seamless data exchange and process automation across platforms.
- Create, manage, and maintain APIs to facilitate system interaction and data integration.
- Build and maintain system integration architecture and documentation.
Platform Expertise:
- Configure and connect tools like MuleSoft, Apache Camel, TIBCO BusinessWorks, and other middleware platforms as needed.
- Leverage API tools such as Postman and Swagger for testing, and monitoring.
Process Optimization:
- Assess existing infrastructure and recommend integration improvements.
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows for efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Identify and resolve integration issues in real-time.
- Provide technical support and guidance for integration-related challenges.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure successful integrations.
- Document integration processes and provide training for users on new features.

Integration & Automation:
- Specific: Develop and deploy integrations between specified platforms (e.g., ClickUp ? Homebase, Homebase ? QuickBooks, GoHighLevel ? Outlook) to automate workflows and eliminate manual data entry.
- Measurable: Track the number of successful integrations and measure improvements in efficiency and error reduction.
- Achievable: Use already defined integrations in systems and build custom APIs leveraging MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar tools when needed.
- Relevant: Enhances productivity and reduces operational inefficiencies by ensuring smooth communication between systems.
- Time-bound: Complete assigned integrations within two weeks of receiving project requirements.

Documentation & Training:
- Specific: Create comprehensive documentation for all integration processes and provide training materials for end users and stakeholders.
- Measurable: Ensure 100% documentation coverage for all completed integrations and track user feedback on training sessions.
- Achievable: Utilize tools like Swagger, SoapUI, or custom-built documentation frameworks to ensure clarity and usability.
- Relevant: Facilitates long-term maintenance, scalability, and ease of onboarding new team members.
- Time-bound: Deliver detailed documentation for each integration upon project completion.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of systems integration and architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.
- Experience with ETL processes, data structures, and database systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Integration Tools Expertise:
- Knowledge of platforms like MuleSoft, Apache Camel, TIBCO BusinessWorks, and Jenkins.
- Experience using CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to integrations.
- Analytical mindset for identifying bottlenecks and optimizing systems.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for gathering requirements, creating documentation, and training users.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their integration capabilities.
