JOB OVERVIEW

WE ARE IN NEED OF INTAKE SPECIALIST that can start ASAP!

Job Requirements:
-Must have a strong 4-7 years’ experience working in Psychiatric Hospital or Clinic
-Medical Psychiatric Training is required -Preferably graduate of BS Psychology, BS Pharmacy, BS Nursing or any related medical course -Psychologist license is a great advantage but not required
-Can work US business hours -HIPAA certified- preferred but not required
-Knowledge in ICD10 and CPT Codes Professional

Technical Skills Needed:
-Good data entry skills -Keen to details
-Critical thinking skills
-Decision making skills
-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
-Interpersonal skills Software Skills: (preferred but not required)
-Familiarity with Simple Practice and Practice Fusion
-Familiarity with Google workspace and Microsoft office

Work From Home Requirements:
-High Speed ISP 20mbps and above
-Must have a backup internet connection Noise Cancelling Headset Dual Monitor highly preferred

Major Duties and Responsibilities
-Responsible to do inbound calls to potential leads through email from Psychology Today Magazine, voicemail via Upgrade to see actual info, referrals, HIPPA Server (back office portals)
-In depth review the background of potential leads for possible intake
-Conduct interview with patients using Patient Intake Questionnaire to determine if our services are the best fit for their needs -Creates patient account information in Simple Practice during the interview
-Responsible for making sure that all required pre-assessment forms are sent to the patients’ email.
-Confirms the eligibility and benefits with insurance of the patients.
-Schedule patients with the best fit psychiatrist for the visit.
-Organize and monitor the admin spreadsheet for every therapist visit.
-Conducts scheduling of psychiatrist’s patients via simple practice calendar and google calendar
-Verifies the scheduled patients if they accomplished all the important forms, photos of Insurance ID Card (front and back), and -photo of valid ID. Upload it under their file in the Simple Practice portal.
-Monitor patients with incomplete requirements, conduct a follow up call and email patients to guarantee that important --documents are complete before the appointment.
-Add the scheduled patients who completed their requirements in the Practice Fusion portal.
-Responsible for canceling patients’ appointments for those who did not complete their requirements after multiple attempts of contact via phone calls and emails. Suggests ways to address procedural improvements and service efficiency
-Attend to ad hoc duties as needed
-Support the current patients inquiries and direct them to the right person/clinician
- Create and suggest his or her own project relevant to the current trends or needs of the company
