Intake Specialist

Martine Law, PLLC is a Minnesota Law Firm focused on Criminal and Family Law and we are seeking an Intake Specialist to join our team.

Our Intake Specialists are the first point of contact and this role is crucial in ensuring a positive experience with every point of contact. While no prior legal experience is required, you must have at least 1 year experience in a call center or other customer service role.


Responsibilities:

Client Interaction:
Answer incoming calls and respond to online inquiries promptly and professionally.
Schedule initial consultations with potential clients and actively listen to their legal concerns.
Collect relevant details about their case, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assess whether potential cases align with our practice areas (criminal and family law).
Determine urgency and prioritize follow-up actions accordingly.
Enter client information into our case management systems
Maintain accurate records of all interactions and case details across all systems.
Assist with closing procedures and any other requests.


Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in legal intake, customer service, or related fields preferred.
Familiarity with legal terminology and case types (criminal, family) is a plus

Skills:
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Empathy and patience when dealing with all callers.
Ability to multitask while on the phone
Ability to handle a high call volume

Tech Savvy:
Type 55WPM
Proficiency in using case management software
Comfortable with basic office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
