JOB DESCRIPTION

The Instructional Design Assistant will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality learning experiences, including e-learning courses, instructional videos, and training materials. This role requires expertise in instructional design principles, content development, and multimedia production. The ideal candidate will be creative, tech-savvy, and passionate about education and training.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and implement engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, videos, and interactive content.
– Conduct research and apply instructional design methodologies to create effective learning experiences.
- Utilize tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Canva to design visually appealing and interactive learning materials.
- Create and edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and develop graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Work with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Brightspace (D2L), Moodle, Canvas, and Blackboard to deploy courses and manage learner engagement.
- Ensure instructional materials meet accessibility (WCAG) and universal design for learning (UDL) standards.
- Conduct market research and apply AI tools to enhance content creation and productivity.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), clients, and internal teams to design custom learning solutions.
- Write clear, concise, and engaging instructional content for various audiences.
- Apply UX/UI principles to course design for an optimal learner experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, education, learning & development, or a related field.
- A degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Science, Pedagogy, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical proficiency with digital design tools, including Canva, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with AI-powered tools to enhance content development and market research.
- Strong understanding of learning theories, adult learning principles, and instructional design models.
- Ability to develop learning solutions that align with business objectives and learner needs.
- Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in video animation and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with gamification and interactive learning strategies.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and e-learning standards.
- Understanding of data analytics to measure learning effectiveness.

Php400 per hour for approximately 10 hours a week
