We are looking for an Independent Business Development Associate to support our sales team by ensuring timely follow-ups on leads, updating CRM records, and assisting with prospect research. This role involves working closely with our Business Development Representative to keep sales activities organized and efficient.
Contractor Responsibilities
Sales Support & Follow-Up
• Assist in tracking sales leads and follow-ups.
• Ensure sales activity (calls,

• Identify and flag overdue follow-ups or stalled opportunities.
• Provide reminders and updates on active deals.
• Attend bi-weekly check-ins to report on lead activity and process updates.
CRM Maintenance & Data Entry
• Input and organize lead information in HubSpot.
• Update lead statuses and lifecycle stages as needed.
• Verify and correct data for accuracy and consistency.
• Generate simple reports to assist with outreach tracking.
Prospect Research & Data Collection
• Use ZoomInfo to find and verify potential leads.
• Gather contact details for outreach.
• Identify potential interest signals from prospects.
• Organize lead lists and sync data with HubSpot.
Required Minimum Qualifications
• Fluent in English (writing, speaking, and reading).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
• Experience with HubSpot CRM (or a similar sales/marketing CRM).
• Experience using ZoomInfo (or a similar lead-generation tool).

• Comfortable handling data entry and tracking lead status.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while following established processes.
• Prior experience in sales support, business development assistance, or lead research.
Our company operates within the Eastern Time Zone (ET) in the U.S., from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. While independent contractors should be available during this timeframe for effective communication, they maintain full control over how they complete tasks, as long as deadlines and expectations are met.
Note: Service hours for this independent contractor opportunity will not exceed 40 hours per week unless prior approval is obtained from the CEO or a designated company representative.
