About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized individual to join our London-based logistics team as an Inbound Customer Service Representative. You will be responsible for managing inbound customer orders via WhatsApp, ensuring each order is processed accurately, and allocating it to the appropriate driver with a guaranteed maximum estimated time of arrival (ETA) of 60 minutes. This is a remote position, and the shift will run from 12pm to 12am UK time, 7 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer orders via WhatsApp, ensuring clear communication and understanding of the customer's request.
- Accurately allocate orders to the appropriate driver based on location and availability, ensuring all orders are assigned within a maximum ETA of 60 minutes.
- Maintain real-time communication with customers and drivers, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customer queries and issues are addressed professionally and promptly.
- Monitor the progress of deliveries, ensuring efficient and on-time order fulfillment.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations and optimize order allocation based on driver availability and location.
- Assist with order tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving any delays or issues that may arise.
- Ensure all orders are logged accurately in the system for record-keeping and future reference.
Requirements:
- Availability: Must be able to commit to a 12-hour shift (12pm - 12am UK Time) 7 days a week.
- Communication: Strong written communication skills, especially for WhatsApp-based interactions with customers.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or logistics (particularly inbound customer service) is preferred but not essential.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using WhatsApp, order management systems, and other communication tools.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and adapt to changing situations in real time.
- Organized: Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
- Self-Motivated: Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity.
- Location: This is a remote position, so you must have a stable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
