JOB OVERVIEW

We are a dynamic and growing e-commerce brand seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, with a background in working with brands with inventory and or e-commerce experience. This role requires proficiency in XERO and familiarity with filing documents and managing financial records for UK-based companies. The job is part time, about 15 hours p/week and will be based with a Singapore company that is a clothing company.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and/or Xero
Prepare and file necessary financial documents with UK companies and government agencies.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant UK accounting standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures and processes.
Integrate simple internal P&L's updated monthly on excel

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
Strong proficiency in XERO software is required and also Quickbooks.
Understanding of inventory calculation on accrual based account and cash based accounting.
Experience working with UK companies and familiarity with UK accounting practices and filing requirements.
Ability to work part-time during Singapore business hours.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
