As we continue to grow, we are seeking an In-House Accountant to manage our financial operations with precision and efficiency. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our projects and ensuring seamless billing and reconciliation processes.

Position Overview

The In-House Accountant will oversee all financial transactions related to billing, invoicing, and project reconciliation. This person will work closely with ownership and our external accountant to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in maintaining financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Project Reconciliation: Monitor project costs, reconcile budgets, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Financial Oversight: Maintain financial records, track expenses, and assist with budgeting.
• Compliance & Reporting: Work with external accountants to ensure tax compliance and accurate reporting.
• Owner & Accountant Support: Provide financial reports and updates to ownership and the external accountant as needed.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, contracts, and receipts.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clients, ownership, and external accountants.
