Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and creative Illustrator to work on complex and detailed designs inspired by the rich culture, landscapes, and architecture of Nepal. This position requires someone who can blend traditional and modern elements to create visually striking artwork that represents Nepal's unique heritage, scenic beauty, and diverse landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Create intricate, high-quality illustrations that capture the beauty and essence of Nepal, including landscapes, cultural symbols, architecture, wildlife, and people.
Work closely with the project manager or creative director to understand specific design needs, project goals, and deadlines.
Translate concepts, ideas, and sketches into detailed and polished illustrations.
Use your artistic skills to design compositions that reflect both the traditional and contemporary sides of Nepal.
Incorporate elements like mountains (Himalayas), temples, festivals, and other cultural motifs, ensuring authenticity in the portrayal.
Collaborate with the team to adjust designs based on feedback and client requirements.
Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Illustrator with a strong portfolio, showcasing detailed and complex artwork (please include a portfolio with application).
Ability to create both hand-drawn and digital illustrations.
Knowledge of Nepal’s culture, geography, and traditions is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) or other illustration software.
Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and design principles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for visual storytelling.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience illustrating designs for publications, branding, or merchandising.
Familiarity with Nepali traditional art styles, such as Thangka or paubha painting, is a plus.
Understanding of vector art and scalable illustrations for various platforms.
