Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to provide remote support for end-users. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, ScreenConnect, and Huntress (Antivirus). This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently while delivering top-tier technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote technical support to users via phone,
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
Manage Active Directory (AD), including user creation, password resets, group policy management, and permissions.
Administer and troubleshoot Azure services, including identity management, security settings, and resource access.
Support Huntress (Antivirus) by monitoring alerts, investigating security i
Assist with user account setups, software installations, and system configurations.
Document solutions and technical processes in a knowledge base for future reference.
Educate and guide users on best practices for security, productivity, and IT policies.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing clear communication and timely resolutions.
Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of experience in IT help desk or technical support.
Strong understanding of Office 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
Experience with Active Directory, including user and group management.
Familiarity with Azure, particularly identity and access management.
Hands-on experience with ScreenConnect or similar remote support tools.
Knowledge of Huntress (Antivirus) or other endpoint security solutions.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose hardware, software, and networking issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
Customer-service-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Azure Fundamentals.
Experience working with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
Basic scripting experience (PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting.
