IT Developer - Full Stack Web Development/Graphic Designer

Job Description: Are you a skilled web developer with a passion for education and technology? Northern California Nursing Academy is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Web Developer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our online presence and ensuring that our website and internal systems serve as an effective platform for students, instructors, and staff.
Responsibilities
? Developing responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
? Writing server-side code using programming languages like .NET, PHP, Java, and/or Node.js. (Preferably knowledgeable in .NET technologies)
? Creating and managing databases to store and retrieve data efficiently using Microsoft SQL through stored procedures.
? Implementing user authentication, authorization, and security measures.
? Building dynamic web applications with features like user registration and interactive elements.
? Integrating with third-party services and APIs.
? Using version control systems like Git to track and manage code changes.
? Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix bugs and issues.
? Design and maintain databases to store and retrieve data efficiently.
? Use database management systems like MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or others.
? Optimizing web applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
? Maintaining documentation for code, APIs, and development processes.
? Collaborating with designers, other developers, and stakeholders to define project requirements.
? Managing project timelines, deliverables, and deployments.
? Providing ongoing maintenance, updates, and support for web applications.
? Diagnosing and resolving issues reported by users or identified through monitoring.
? Staying up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies.
? Provide technical support and training to staff members as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
? Proven experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
? Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development frameworks.
? Proficiency in Database management
? Knowledge of web security best practices.
? Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web hosting.
? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
? Strong communication and collaboration skills.
? Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Working Hours:
