TicketDynamics is a US-based data analytics startup operating in the live event ticketing space. We are a leading provider of concert and live event tickets to secondary marketplaces (StubHub, VividSeats, Ticketmaster, etc). Leveraging our vast experience and knowledge spanning across the primary and secondary markets, our mission is to identify and correct market inefficiencies, connect fans to unforgettable live experiences, and foster an innovative work culture.
TicketDynamics currently has 15 full-time employees, 3 based in the United States, and 12 contractors based in the Phillippines across our four divisions: research, onsales (ticket purchasing), pricing, fulfillment.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly proactive and resourceful Human Resources Lead to build and execute our HR operations from the ground up. As our first HR hire, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing efficient systems and processes across all HR functions while working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Build and execute core HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, full-cycle recruiting, and compliance.
2) Drive HR initiatives with a hands-on approach, ensuring practical implementation of policies and processes.
3) Autonomously manage existing HR tools and technologies for efficiency (e.g., onboarding, time-tracking, payroll).
4) Identify, adopt, and implement new key HR systems with an emphasis on automation and scalability.
5) Act as a trusted partner to leadership, providing insight and solutions for team growth and structure.
6) Independently handle employee inquiries, resolve HR-related challenges, and ensure a positive team experience.
What Success Looks Like:
First 30 Days:
- Understand current state operations, each role within the company, and interview staff members to gather feedback on HR improvements.
- Familiarize with existing HR technology, including Deel (for international payroll) and Jibble (for time-tracking).
First 60 Days:
- Autonomously manage and approve international payroll, timesheets, and one-time bonuses (if any).
- Develop key onboarding materials and company policies across all four divisions.
- Develop a structured process for sourcing and recruiting top talent.
First 90 Days:
- Roll out recruiting efforts and create SOPs for hiring and interview activities.

Qualifications:
1) Based in the Philippines.
2) Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
3) 2+ years of hands-on HR experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
4) Proven ability to build and implement HR systems from scratch.
5) Experience handling payroll, benefits, compliance, and HR software tools.
6) Familiarity with platforms such as Deel, Jibble, Trainual, or similar HR tech.
7) Strong problem-solving, organizational, and execution skills.
