Are you the perfect mix we are looking for??

I own a performance based Physical Therapy company in Washington State that specializes in sports and athletics. I am looking for someone to be my right hand person, helping me make the business run smoothly from an administrative standpoint, but also help us grow from a marketing and branding standpoint as well.

This job will require the perfect mix between a healthcare virtual assistant (cash and insurance based PT in the US), and social media/brand manager.

Responsibilities will include:

Administrative: Client support (email, text, phone), leads management, scheduling, insurance verification, authorization, credentialing new employees
- Insurance Verification and Assessment: Verify insurance coverage and assess clients' insurance cards for relevant information, including eligibility, coverage limits, and authorization requirements (Availity, OneHealthPort, calling insurance plans/adjusters directly)
- Liaise with Patients, Insurance Companies and Doctors: Make outbound calls to leads/patients to answer questions, schedule them, or gather and/or clarify outstanding onboarding requirements, and relevant insurance information.
- Make outbound calls to insurance companies and patients to gather information and resolve any issues related to prior authorizations.
- Communicate authorization status to internal teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions, authorizations, and communications related to prior authorizations.
- Be a resource and client facing member of the team to improve customer rapport and satisfaction
- Credential new employees (PTs) as they join our team to insurance networks (CAQH, OneHealthPort)

Social Media/Branding:
- Help generate and distribute content for social media, newsletters, direct marketing skills.
- Hep create strategies for lead generation and brand growth across different platforms
- understand social media and graphic design
- help generate ideas for content
- with raw content (videos or photos) - edit short and long form videos and graphics to grow both business and personal brands

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health profession (Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, etc.)
Prior experience working in prior authorization, insurance verification, or related roles, as well as a strong understanding of insurance policies, prior authorization processes, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of social media, as well as basic video and graphic editing
Ability to work Pacific Time Zone
Strong at-home internet access
