Job Title: Healthcare VA (Specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders)

Position Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with expertise in psychology or nursing to provide consultation services for parents of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). This role involves assisting parents by offering guidance, support, and insights to help them navigate the challenges and opportunities related to raising a child on the spectrum.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in psychology, nursing, or mental health and be comfortable providing advice and support via phone and Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations and provide support to parents of children with ASD, answering questions, offering guidance, and addressing concerns related to developmental, behavioral, and therapeutic needs.
- Utilize in-house CRM and Zoom to manage appointments, record notes, and ensure client confidentiality.
- Maintain a deep understanding of autism spectrum disorders, with a commitment to providing empathetic, informative, and effective guidance.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client information remains confidential and secure.
Collaborate with other team members to enhance service quality and ensure consistent support for clients.
- Continuously update knowledge on autism spectrum disorders, best practices in parenting support, and other related fields.


Qualifications:
1) Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Nursing, or a related field (e.g., Mental Health Specialist, Therapy).
Licensing and Certification: Preferably licensed in your respective field and HIPAA certified (in-house HIPAA certification can be provided).
2) Experience:
- Preferably 1-3 years of experience working directly with ASD patients or in a related field, either in person or as a virtual assistant specializing in autism support.
3) Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a personable and empathetic approach to consultation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to the use of CRM tools and other in-house software.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple cases with a high degree of professionalism.
4) Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Zoom for virtual consultations.
- Ability to learn and efficiently use the in-house CRM for managing client interactions and keeping detailed consultation notes.
