Healthcare Billing and Reconciliation Specialist

Nautical Staffing is looking for an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Billing and Reconciliation Specialist for our US-based client in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:
• Account Reconciliation: Perform extensive reconciliations of resident bank accounts to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial records.
• AR Aging Reconciliations: Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify discrepancies and resolve outstanding balances.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed financial and operational reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
• Healthcare Billing Support: Assist with healthcare billing tasks as needed, collaborating with the billing team to maintain smooth processes.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities align with industry regulations, company policies, and financial best practices.

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in healthcare billing is required
• Prior experience in accounting (e.g., reconciliation, accounts receivable, etc.) is required
• Must have background in reporting
• Must be proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Sage Intacct
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
• Able to organize and prioritize tasks, streamline workflows, and pay attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Must be willing to work full-time during US Pacific business hours
