Head of Estimators

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Estimators who will lead our estimating team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of working with US clients, especially in California. This role requires expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and experience with takeoffs, along with familiarity with tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or JobTread.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the estimating team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of estimates
- Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers via phone and email, ensuring strong relationships and smooth operations
- Perform takeoffs and estimates for projects, specifically for California clients
- Collaborate with project managers and the construction team to provide cost-effective solutions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of estimates, revisions, and vendor communications
- Work closely with our team to ensure estimates meet project requirements and budgets
Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience as a construction estimator, with a focus on US clients, particularly in California
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal) for interacting with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Experience in MEP systems and construction estimating
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or JobTread for takeoffs and project estimation
- Ability to work 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to lead and motivate a team
