As we continue to scale, we are seeking a motivated HR Specialist with a strong background in accounting to join our remote team. We’re looking for someone who can handle HR responsibilities with precision and agility while also contributing to the financial side of operations.
Role Overview: As our HR Specialist, you will manage a variety of human resources tasks, including recruitment, payroll administration, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role requires someone who can move quickly, think critically, and handle both HR and accounting tasks with efficiency and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee recruitment, from sourcing candidates to onboarding and training.
Manage payroll processing and benefits administration.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
Handle employee relations with confidentiality and professionalism.
Assist in accounting tasks such as budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
Work closely with management to implement strategic HR initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in an HR role with a focus on recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
Solid understanding of accounting practices, payroll, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday), and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
HR or accounting certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CPA) are a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
