We are a social media agency with a fully remote team, focused on helping influencers and content creators grow and thrive. As we scale, we need a dedicated HR Specialist to handle general HR operations and, most importantly, recruit top-tier editors to support our content production.
Role Overview
The HR Specialist will focus on two primary responsibilities:
1. Managing general HR tasks such as payroll, employee records, and performance tracking.
2. Actively recruiting and onboarding skilled video editors to strengthen our creative team.
This role is critical to ensuring we build and maintain a high-performance, well-structured remote team that operates smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Proactively source, screen, and hire remote video editors and admin staff.
- Manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires align with company culture and expectations.
General HR Administration
- Oversee payroll, contracts, and employee records for remote staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain structured HR processes.
Employee Performance & Engagement
- Track editor and team performance, run feedback cycles, and oversee performance reviews.
- Address team concerns and foster a positive work culture.
Process Optimization
- Improve hiring pipelines, HR workflows, and employee management systems to enhance efficiency.
Who You Are
- Experienced in HR and recruitment, especially in hiring remote creative professionals.
- Strong recruiter, skilled in identifying and attracting top talent.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple HR functions efficiently.
- Excellent communicator, capable of maintaining strong relationships with remote teams.
