Position Summary:
The HR Specialist is responsible for managing HR operations, ensuring employees adhere to company policies, and supporting the overall well-being of the team. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to enforce company standards while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities and Performance Metrics
1. Team Management & Accountability
Ensure employees adhere to time management policies (attendance, punctuality, breaks).
Conduct regular check-ins with employees and managers to assess team performance.
Track and report team performance metrics.
Address any performance or compliance issues promptly.
Success Metric: 90% compliance with time tracking and attendance policies.
2. Payroll Administration
Accurately processes payroll on time, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure accuracy.
Success Metric: 100?curate payroll processing with zero delays.
3. Benefits Administration
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Ensure all employees understand their benefits and assist with enrollment.
Handle employee questions and concerns regarding benefits.
Success Metric: 95% of employees understand and utilize their benefits effectively.
4. Company Handbook & Policy Management
Maintain and update the company handbook with relevant policies.
Ensure all employees are trained on and adhere to company policies.
Develop new policies as needed to address company growth and compliance requirements.
Success Metric: Handbook updated annually and 100% policy adherence among employees.
5. Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Source, screen, and interview strong candidates for open positions.
Ensure a streamlined and efficient hiring process.
Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs.
Success Metric: 85%+ of new hires successfully complete their probation period and meet performance expectations.
Core Competencies
