Position: HR Lead

Location: Remote/WFH
Role Overview:
The HR Lead will be responsible for managing all facets of human resources operations and strategy, with a focus on fostering accountability, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring operational reliability. This position is pivotal in supporting career development, driving employee engagement initiatives, and optimizing the HRIS system. The HR Officer is expected to demonstrate professionalism, uphold company schedules, and set a positive example in all HR-related matters.
1. Associate Onboarding
Manage end-to-end onboarding for new hires, ensuring smooth integration and a positive onboarding experience.
Conduct regular check-ins during the probationary period to address new hire needs and feedback.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure seamless transitions from candidate selection to onboarding.
2. HRIS Management
Maintain data accuracy in the HRIS system and generate reports to support decision-making.
Ensure effective system usage and provide training to employees on HRIS functionalities.
Monitor and improve HRIS processes to enhance efficiency.
3. Performance Management & Improvement Plans (PIP)
Design and implement career development and succession plans for employees.
Manage the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process for employees not meeting expectations, issuing Notices and Disciplinary Actions (DA) as necessary.
Oversee the appraisal process, ensuring timely evaluations and feedback for employees’ professional growth.
Utilize the HRIS system to track performance data, enabling data-driven decision-making on employee development.
4. Total Rewards Management & HMO
Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that align with company goals.
Monitor market trends and adjust salary structures to maintain competitiveness.
Oversee the management of company benefits programs, including HMO, and ensure relationships with benefits vendors are effectively maintained.
Manage employee questions or concerns regarding HMO and benefits.
5. Employee Engagement & Relations
Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
Conduct regular temperature checks and internal surveys to monitor employee satisfaction, address concerns, and improve workplace culture.
Manage employee grievance procedures and resolve sensitive employee relations issues.
Ensure compliance with all labor laws and company policies, conducting audits as needed.
6. Organization Development
Design and lead organizational development initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement, change management, and company-wide development.
Implement long-term and short-term organizational development strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
Assess and develop company culture, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and values.
Lead and manage engagement activities, team-building initiatives, and company events.
7. Talent Acquisition Support
Collaborate closely with the recruitment team to support hiring efforts and ensure alignment between recruitment, onboarding, and long-term employee development.
Work with department heads and recruitment to develop hiring plans that align with organizational growth and employee retention strategies.
Ensure smooth communication and processes between recruitment and HR operations, ensuring that hiring goals and onboarding are seamless.
8. Associate Offboarding
Conduct exit interviews, ensuring a respectful and comprehensive offboarding process.
Provide feedback for retention strategies and ensure smooth communication between offboarding employees and support teams.
Administer final pay, benefits wrap-up, and any offboarding documentation required.
9. Reporting and Analytics
Compile and analyze HR data, including onboarding, performance metrics, employee engagement, and exit interview feedback, to provide actionable insights for management.
Develop and implement processes for data collection and analysis to proactively identify trends and potential issues.
Generate reports to support strategic decision-making, particularly in areas related to employee retention and engagement initiatives.
Present findings to leadership, helping to shape policies and programs that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
10. Probation Period & Performance Reviews:
The first 3-6 months of employment will include a structured probation period where the HR Officer will be evaluated on reliability, adherence to the work schedule, punctuality, and the quality of work delivered.
Performance reviews will be held regularly to assess progress, with a focus on maintaining high standards and meeting expectations.
Critical Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a proven record of reliability and punctuality.
Skills: Strong background in career growth pathing, employee engagement, and managing HRIS systems.
Values: Must demonstrate integrity, accountability, and professionalism, and align with the company’s culture and work standards.
Leadership: Demonstrates proactive engagement in HR initiatives and fosters a culture of accountability and professionalism within the team.
Requirements
Educational background in HR, Business, or related fields; additional certifications preferred.
Previous HR experience (1-3 years), with knowledge in employee engagement, recruitment, employee relations, and HR software.
Understanding of PH employment laws and regulations.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Ability to manage conflicts, handle sensitive information, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
