Rent For Event is seeking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR department, with a primary focus on recruitment. This role will assist in attracting, screening, and hiring top talent while also handling various administrative HR tasks. The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth and efficient hiring processes and may be assigned additional responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
Maintain and update job descriptions, ensuring alignment with company needs.
Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and reference verifications.
Communicate with candidates and hiring managers to facilitate smooth recruitment operations.
Assist in onboarding new hires, including document processing, system setup, and orientation support.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Support HR in administrative tasks such as maintaining HR databases, tracking recruitment metrics, and generating reports.
Participate in employer branding initiatives, including social media recruitment campaigns and career fairs.
Assist in organizing HR-related events, training, and employee engagement activities.
Handle additional HR duties as assigned by the HR Manager, which may include employee relations, compliance tracking, and benefits coordination.
Provide support in workforce planning and talent pipeline development to ensure business needs are met.
Assist in implementing and optimizing applicant tracking systems to streamline hiring processes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards.
Requirements:
Previous experience in HR or recruitment is preferred.
Preferably someone who has worked with US-based clients and can work in US time zones.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite, and HR software is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing hiring needs and business demands.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
Able to work remotely with complete equipment.
