We are looking for a talented and experienced Graphic Designer and Design Team Lead to join our team remotely. In this role, you will both, create visually appealing and effective graphics, and lead and mentor a team of designers, while driving the visual direction and aesthetic of multiple consumer brands on e-commerce platforms. Your responsibilities will include creating and overseeing the creation of impactful graphics, maintaining brand consistency, and managing projects to elevate our brand presence across platforms such as Amazon and Shopify.
Responsibilities:
1. Design Creation
• Design graphics for Amazon and Shopify store fronts, advertisements, and branding materials
• Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to understand the features, benefits, and unique selling points of our products to effectively communicate these to customers through visual content.
• Create visually appealing and brand-consistent graphic designs for our Amazon product listings, including product images, infographics, banners, and promotional materials.
2. Team leader- and mentorship
• Lead and manage a team of graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality output and professional growth
• Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging out-of-the-box design thinking and excellence within the design team.
2. Strategic design direction
• Develop and implement visual strategies for Amazon A+ content, Shopify storefronts, advertisements, and branding materials that align with business objectives.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines while meeting platform-specific requirements (e.g., Amazon content guidelines).
3. Content Creation & Quality Assurance:
• Review and approve graphic designs, ensuring they are visually appealing, brand-consistent, and effective in driving customer engagement and sales.
• Stay up to date on graphic design software on industry trends, competitors, and emerging software tools to maintain fresh and innovative designs.
4. Optimization:
• Review performance metrics related to design assets, such as conversion rates and customer engagement, and make data-driven improvements.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in an ecommerce or digital marketing agency
• Proven experience in creating Amazon A+ Content and a strong understanding of Amazon's content guidelines.
• Exceptional skills in graphic design with proficiency in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, particularly Amazon’s platform, and the ability to create compelling content that drives customer engagement and sales.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• A creative mindset and the ability to interpret and translate our product features and benefits into engaging content.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team but also take initiative and work independently.
Location: This is a remote position, so you can work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
