Graphic Designer & Shopify Web Development

OVERVIEW:
Our team is searching for a talented Graphic Designer (4 hours per week) with 1+ years of previous design experience to create and refine visual assets for our business and clients. This role involves designing graphics for social media, advertisements, and occasional website usage. Additionally, some Shopify website development knowledge is preferred to help with basic storefront updates. Proficiency in at least one major design tool (Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva) is required. Additional skills can be taught in training as needed.

TASKS:
• Creating graphics and banners using existing brand guidelines, color palettes, and fonts
• Designing social media visuals (e.g., Instagram posts, Facebook ads, Pinterest graphics)
• Resizing and optimizing images for each platform’s specifications
• Developing promotional materials (flyers, ads, or event banners) in line with branding
• Collaborating with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers (Social Media Manager, Marketing VA) to ensure cohesive campaigns
• Basic photo editing (removing backgrounds, adding stylized mockups) when needed
• Maintaining organized design files and asset libraries
• Shopify Storefront Updates (e.g., uploading product images, editing banners, making minor layout adjustments)

REQUIREMENTS:
• 1+ years of graphic design experience
• Proficiency in at least one design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva)
• Basic Shopify website development knowledge (e.g., storefront updates, adding visuals)
• Strong understanding of brand consistency and visual identity
• Good aesthetic sense (layout, typography, color theory)
• Fluent English communication skills (to discuss design revisions and feedback)
• Familiarity with Slack or similar communication tools
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
