Job Overview
We're looking for a creative, tech-savvy Graphic Designer / Marketing Specialist to work closely with our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with an innovative company.

Key Responsibilities
- Create visually appealing graphics, icons, charts, and infographics
- Design marketing materials for various platforms
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines
- Collaborate on UI/UX design projects
- Produce data visualizations and presentations
- Create and edit visual content for social media
- Assist in developing marketing strategies

Required Skills and Qualities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with Figma, Canva, and Sketch
- Strong visual communication and graphic design skills
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and ability to work within brand guidelines
- Understanding of current design trends and accessibility standards
- Quick learner, adaptable to new tools and technologies
- Proactive problem-solver with efficient work habits
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in data visualization and infographic design

Additional Valuable Skills
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Basic animation skills
- Familiarity with Miro or Milanote for mood boards
- Experience with Loom for creating video explanations of designs
- Proficiency in project management tools like Notion, Trello, or Asana

Required Equipment
1. Computer: A reliable desktop or laptop computer with sufficient processing power and memory to handle design software.
- Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent AMD processor (8th generation or newer)
- RAM: At least 16GB
- Storage: 512GB SSD or larger
- Graphics: Dedicated graphics card recommended
2. High-speed internet connection:
- Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps
- Minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps
- Stable and reliable connection, preferably wired ethernet
3. Smartphone: For mobile access to email and messaging apps
4. Webcam: HD quality (720p or higher) for video recordings
5. Headset with microphone: For clear audio during calls and meetings

Note: Some software licenses may be provided by the company, but please specify which design tools you currently have access to.

Work Schedule and Compensation
- 20 hours per week (Part-Time to start)
- $120/week
- Strong possibility for full-time hire (40 hours per week) if skill set and relationship are a great fit
- All payments made via Wise
- US Eastern Standard Time preferred, but not required
- Mostly asynchronous work with occasional sync meetings (1-2x a month)

Trial Period
- 2-week trial to ensure mutual fit
- Both parties can end the trial early with clear communication
