JOB OVERVIEW

Fly Pages Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Google Ads Specialist to join our team as a part-time contractor. The Google Ads Specialist is responsible for strategizing, executing, and optimizing paid search campaigns to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and drive measurable conversions. This role requires deep expertise in Google Ads, a data-driven mindset, and a proven track record of delivering results through paid search strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Campaign Strategy & Execution
-- Develop and execute Google Ads strategies aligned with client conversion goals (lead generation, e-commerce sales, sign-ups, etc.).
-- Conduct thorough keyword research to target high-intent searches that drive conversions.
-- Build and optimize campaign structures, including Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, and Remarketing.
-- Ensure proper audience segmentation using first-party data, customer lists, and Google’s machine-learning tools.

2. Performance Optimization & Management
-- Continuously analyze campaign performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CVR, CPA, ROAS) to make data-driven adjustments.
-- Optimize ad creatives, copy, and extensions to improve click-through rates and engagement.
-- Implement A/B testing strategies for ads, landing pages, and bidding models.
-- Manage and optimize budgets, ensuring efficient spend allocation across campaigns.

3. Conversion Tracking & Customer Journey Analysis
-- Set up and manage conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and offline conversion imports.
-- Track and analyze the entire customer journey from ad interaction to conversion, identifying key touchpoints and drop-off areas.
-- Ensure proper event tracking, goal setup, and attribution modeling to measure campaign effectiveness.
-- Leverage data-driven insights to refine campaign strategies and improve conversion rates.

4. Audience Targeting & Retargeting
-- Leverage Google Ads audience tools to segment users effectively (Custom Audiences, Similar Audiences, In-Market, Affinity).
-- Develop advanced retargeting strategies using RSLA’s, customer match, and dynamic remarketing.
-- Optimize Performance Max campaigns to reach high-value customer segments.

5. Bidding Strategy & Automation
-- Implement smart bidding strategies (Target ROAS, Maximize Conversions, Target CPA) based on campaign objectives.
-- Leverage automation tools and scripts to improve efficiency and performance.
-- Regularly audit and adjust manual and automated bidding strategies for optimal results.

6. Competitor & Market Analysis
-- Conduct competitive research to identify opportunities and gaps in the market.
-- Benchmark against industry standards and competitors’ ad strategies.
-- Stay updated on the latest Google Ads features, algorithm updates, and best practices.

7. Reporting & Client Communication
-- Provide clear, actionable reports on campaign performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
-- Present data-driven findings and optimizations during client meetings.
-- Communicate budget pacing, spend efficiency, and ROI tracking with stakeholders.

8. Compliance & Best Practices
-- Ensure all campaigns follow Google Ads policies and industry best practices.
-- Implement proper ad copy compliance (especially for regulated industries).
-- Manage negative keyword lists to reduce wasted spend and improve targeting accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-- 3-5+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns with a strong focus on ROAS.
-- Google Ads Certification in Search, Display, and Shopping (preferred).
-- Proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Data Studio for reporting.
-- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and transform insights into actionable strategies.
-- Ability to adapt to new trends, automation tools, and AI-driven bidding strategies.
-- Familiarity with SE Ranking, SEMrush, or similar SEO/reporting platforms.
-- Advanced English proficiency in both writing and speaking.
-- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and reporting.
-- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and kindly.
-- Discipline and self-motivation to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a diverse team.

Preferred, but not required:
-- Experience using Google Workspace for collaboration and reporting.
-- Experience using Basecamp or similar project management tools for project communication, deliverable management, and deadlines.
