As a General Virtual Assistant with Podcast Management Experience, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks with a special focus on podcast management, content production, and distribution. You will support our team by coordinating podcast episodes, managing content calendars, ensuring smooth podcast publishing workflows, and assisting with general administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Podcast Management:
Coordinate all aspects of podcast production, including scheduling guests, preparing show notes, and managing episode timelines.
Oversee podcast episode upload and distribution across multiple platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts).
Help edit podcast scripts and assist in editing audio files when needed (using tools like Audacity, Descript, etc.).
Manage guest communications, including outreach, confirmations, and follow-ups.
Ensure podcast episodes are published on time and that all metadata (titles, descriptions, tags) is accurate.
Administrative Support:
Manage
Assist with content creation, research, and social media management.
Coordinate tasks and organize project timelines using tools like Asana, Trello, or
Help with data entry, document preparation, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Social Media & Marketing Support:
Help create and schedule social media posts related to podcast episodes.
Assist in creating promotional content (graphics, audiograms, quotes) for social media platforms.
Track analytics for podcasts and social media channels to improve engagement and listenership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: At least a year of experience as a Virtual Assistant with a focus on podcast management or production.
Technical Skills:
-Familiarity with podcasting platforms (e.g., Libsyn, Buzzsprout, Podbean).
-Experience with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Descript).
-Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Canva).
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable tone.
Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and keep processes on track.
Attention to Detail: Ability to handle complex tasks with accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
