JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for Filipino VA – Operations/ General Manager (Work-from-Home Set-up: 7 PM - 3 AM EST)
We are a General Contractor company based in the U.S., specializing in Interior Fit-out (commercial) and HVAC, and we're currently seeking an Operations General Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations.
General/Operations Manager Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management
• Develop a comprehensive system for KEDC to guide staff in achieving goals and assisting owners.
Business Development/Marketing
• Secure valuable projects and maintain strong client relationships.
o Acquire new clients.
o Assess client backgrounds to evaluate their capacity.
o Negotiate project terms, addressing both commercial and technical concerns.
o Create a list of potential clients
o Develop a strategic marketing plan to attract new projects.
Estimating/Technical
• Provide accurate estimates based on project drawings and resource availability.
o Create feasible and realistic estimates.
o Prepare and submit bids by deadlines.
o Follow up on bid status and outcomes.
o Analyze profit margins based on project scope and volume of work.
Operations
• Monitor projects to control costs and timelines.
o Create simple schedules based on materials and resources.
o Prepare budget estimates and timelines for project completion.
o Coordinate closely with supervisors.
o Provide bi-weekly status reports.
o Work with general contractors on progress, additional tasks, and upcoming work.
Administration and Documentation
• Objective: Ensure efficient management of administrative tasks and documentation processes.


Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum 10 years of overall experience in Construction Management (required).
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Operations Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Preferred but not mandatory)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe PDF, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Plan Swift/Blue Beam.
• Strong skills in quantity and materials take-off/estimate.
• Previous experience working with a General Contractor (GC) company in the U.S, Australian, UK. is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and internal teams.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization with the ability to multitask.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of leading teams remotely.
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in leading site superintendents and foremen remotely, ensuring high performance.
