WordPress Developer

Job Description:
We’re looking for a Fullstack WordPress Developer to join our team on a short-term project to customise and optimise a WordPress SaaS (Booknetic) plugin for our growing business. This role involves refining existing functionality, implementing new features, and ensuring smooth integration and performance across the platform.

Responsibilities:
Customise and enhance an existing WordPress SaaS plugin to meet specific business needs.
Implement new features and functionalities based on project requirements.
Ensure seamless platform integration with third-party tools and services.
Debug and optimise plugin performance for speed and reliability.
Manage database updates and configurations.
Collaborate with the team to achieve project milestones on time.

Requirements:
Proven experience in WordPress plugin customisation and development.
Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
Familiarity with SaaS platforms or scheduling/booking systems.
Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Availability to dedicate at least 30-40 hours per week for 1-2 months.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with tools like Git, Slack, and Trello.
Experience with front-end frameworks like TailwindCSS or Bootstrap.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and plugin performance optimisation.
