Full-Time Web Developer (Shopify & Wordpress) This role is full time on a 12 month contract renewed yearly, with a 2 month trial period. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Web Developer who is experienced in Shopify and Wordpress to join our team full-time for the next six weeks, with the potential to extend to a full-time role over 12 months. The successful applicant will work on two critical website projects: updating an existing site for Arte Moda and building a new site from scratch for Party Bee. Key Responsibilities: Build from from the ground up, incorporating innovative design and functionality site for clients on both wordpress and shopify. Update existing Shopify websites, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience. Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure the websites align with brand goals and marketing strategies. Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to website functionality, plugins, and integrations. Ensure website security and compliance with best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of work in both Shopify and WordPress. Proficient in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. Strong understanding of Shopify platform, themes, and app integrations. Strong understanding of Wordpress platform, themes, and app integrations. Experience with SEO best practices and website optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from clear agency briefs Strong communication and collaboration skills.
