Overview
We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Virtual Assistant to support our solar business operations. This role is full-time and involves solar design assistance, client intake calls, lead follow-ups, and scheduling/administrative tasks. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal team and external stakeholders to ensure projects move smoothly from initial intake through completion.
Responsibilities
1. Solar Project Support
• Assist with solar design: use basic design tools or software (e.g., OpenSolar) to create preliminary layouts (training can be provided).
• Gather necessary property and utility data to support design feasibility.
2. Lead & Customer Intake
• Handle incoming inquiries via phone,
• Qualify new leads by asking relevant questions (usage, home ownership, location, etc.).
• Schedule consultations or site visits as needed.
3. Appointment Booking & Calendar Management
• Coordinate appointments between the sales team, clients, and external vendors.
• Keep track of deadlines, follow-up dates, and important milestones.
• Update and maintain the master calendar.
4. Administrative Tasks
• Keep records and client data organized in CRM or spreadsheets.
• Send follow-up
• Collaborate with the marketing VA to provide project-related updates or highlight success stories.
5. Customer Service & Communication
• Provide routine status updates to clients and handle basic inquiries.
• Escalate complex issues to management as needed.
Qualifications
• Experience in customer service or call handling (inbound and outbound).
• Comfortable speaking on the phone and via Zoom/Skype; excellent English communication skills.
• Basic understanding (or strong willingness to learn) of solar design tools.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Sheets, Docs, Excel).
• Organized and detail-oriented, with strong administrative skills.
• Self-driven, can work independently and manage time effectively.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Previous experience in the solar industry or related field.
• Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Highlevel).
• Basic knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).
Compensation
• Full-time (8 hours/day).
• Range: (e.g., USD $500-$800/month) depending on experience.
• Potential for performance-based incentives.
