JOB OVERVIEW

A Mortgage Company based in California is looking for a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to oversee and grow their online presence. This role requires a mix of content creation, audience engagement, analytics tracking, and social strategy development to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation & Strategy

a. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to grow brand awareness, engagement, and audience size.
b. Create and curate high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content (graphics, videos, posts, stories, reels, etc.).
c. Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting across all platforms.
d. Write engaging captions, headlines, and copy tailored for each platform.
e. Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and other content creators to produce visually appealing content.

2. Platform Management & Engagement

a. Manage daily posting and scheduling on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
b. Engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions to build community and foster relationships.
c. Monitor trends, hashtags, and viral content to leverage timely opportunities for engagement.
d. Develop and execute influencer partnerships and brand collaborations.

3. Analytics & Performance Tracking

a. Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (engagement, follower growth, click-through rates, conversions, etc.).
b. Use insights to optimize content strategies and improve results.
c. Stay up to date with algorithm changes and platform updates to ensure best practices.

4. Advertising & Growth

a. Assist in paid social media advertising campaigns to increase reach, traffic, and conversions.
b. Experiment with A/B testing to improve engagement and ad performance.
c. Work with marketing teams to align social media efforts with broader business goals.

5. Brand & Reputation Management

a. Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all platforms.
b. Monitor online conversations and address customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
c. Proactively manage any PR crises or negative feedback with a strategic approach.
