Full-Time SEO & WordPress Specialist for Local Business

Job Overview:
We are a well-established local business in South Florida looking for a dedicated SEO Specialist with strong WordPress experience. Your role will focus on improving our organic rankings, optimizing local SEO, and managing on-page and off-page SEO strategies.

You will also create location-based service pages, manage internal linking, and ensure our site structure follows best SEO practices. Experience with content writing, basic web design, and backlink outreach is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform keyword research and map out location-based pages
Create SEO-optimized service pages (Patio Screen Repair in Miami, etc.)
Implement on-page SEO (meta tags, headers, alt text, internal linking)
Improve local SEO (Google My Business optimization, citations)
Optimize technical SEO (fix GSC issues, schema markup, indexing)
Execute off-page SEO (guest posting, backlinks, profile linking)
Manage content creation (articles, geo-targeted pages, service descriptions)
Work on basic WordPress design & structure improvements
Track rankings & SEO performance
Requirements:
5+ years of SEO experience (Local & National SEO)
Strong WordPress management skills
Proven experience in on-page and off-page SEO
Ability to write unique, high-quality, and SEO-friendly content
Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush
Backlink building experience (guest posts, citations, outreach)
Strong English skills (C1 or higher)
Able to work independently & provide weekly progress reports
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred):
Experience with content marketing & social media management
Basic graphic design skills for web content
Knowledge of IFTTT & automation tools
