Full-Time Graphic Designer for THC Dispensary – Unleash Your Creativity ($4-$10/hr)

I am hiring a full time graphic designer.

Full time position - $4 - $10 an hour, based on experience and quality of service. I hope this will be a long term working relationship. This is not a “gig” or short term position.

Requirements For The Position:
-Create Compelling Promotional Content: incorporate imagery & typography in line with the client’s branding
-Basic understanding of social media design specs (e.g., Instagram: 1080x1080px, Stories: 1080x1920px)
-Familiarity with file formats (PNG, PDF, JPG) and preparing designs for digital use
-Eye for color, typography, and layout, with a knack for vibrant, modern aesthetics
-Comfortable working with cannabis-related content and adhering to brand guidelines in a regulated industry
-Excellent time management to meet deadlines (e.g., 2-3 designs per week).
-Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for updates and feedback via email or chat tools like Whatsapp or Slack
-Publishing and Scheduling: work with retail stores' calendar and schedule/publish content as required
-Design Striking Illustrations: create vector illustrations for use in social posts, marketing materials, website, app, and print
-Basic to advanced editing: for short-form content (cuts, transitions, text overlays, effects, and color grading)
-Ensuring engaging, high-quality output
-Hours: Flexible, but requires commitment and reliability
-Willingness to occasionally align with Eastern Time for check-ins and meetings
-Payment Method: Wise, Remitly or PayPal
-Strong experience in short-form video editing
-Experience with Wordpress is a bonus
-Ability to create engaging and dynamic content
-Reliable internet and a fast-working setup

I require someone who has excellent reading, writing and speaking English skills and has experience and strong graphic design skill with the ability to produce multiple images in correct sizing for its application.

We’d like to see your creativity and design skills in action! Please create a promotional graphic for our THC dispensary using Canva (or a similar design tool of your choice). Task: Design a digital marketing media (size: 320x50 pixels) promoting a fictional THC product called happy leprechaun pre-rolls. Look at Upgrade to see actual info website and copy our theme with a leprechaun smoking a RAW branded joint.

Requirements:
-Include a preroll with a smoke element that subtly incorporates a cannabis leaf pattern within its texture (don’t just slap a leaf on top—blend it creatively).
-Use a color palette inspired by St Patrick’s day; think proud Irish man.
-Add text: “puff your way to a pot of green gold” in a bold, modern font, plus a smaller tagline: “$6 premium green pre roll.”
-Include a mock-up of a 5 pack of prerolls (size 1080x1080) (you can use Canva’s or Adobe's mock-up tools or draw your own simple version) with a label that reflects the product name and flavor.
-Incorporate a faint mason jar with cannabis buds.
