Ecom CFO, a fast-growing US-based e-commerce accounting firm is seeking a Staff Accountant located in the Philippines to join our remote team. We provide CFO and bookkeeping services tailored to empower entrepreneurs in the dynamic e-commerce space, working with clients on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and other marketplaces.
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate, timely financial services across our portfolio of clients. You’ll manage full-cycle bookkeeping, oversee client accounting operations, and contribute to our clients’ growth by ensuring their financials are in order. This remote role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with high-growth clients in new marketplaces.

Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple e-commerce clients
Manage bank and credit card reconciliations, inventory control, and cost of goods sold calculations
Handle vendor assignments, maintain client vendor glossaries, and categorize transactions daily
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, creating accurate financial statements for each client
Support data exports from various sales channels and assist with onboarding new client data
Liaise with clients, addressing questions and providing exceptional customer service
Execute necessary accruals, journal entries, and adjustments for accurate financial representation

Expectations:
Submit all prior month financials for peer quality assurance by the 10th
Deliver investor-grade, peer-reviewed financial statements to clients by the 15th
Respond to client communications within 48 business hours

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification
Minimum of 2 years of QuickBooks Online experience

Preferred Experience:
E-commerce experience, including familiarity with Amazon Seller Central
Inventory and cost of goods sold accounting expertise
GAAP knowledge and technical accounting expertise
