Full Stack/PHP Software Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack/PHP Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to create responsive and efficient applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications that enhance user experience and meet business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, test, and delivery
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in relevant programming languages.
Collaborate with team members to implement features and resolve issues.
Perform unit and integration testing to ensure functionality.
Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
Maintain documentation for code, application features, and technical specifications.
Work with product managers and designers to understand requirements and contribute to project planning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or a similar role with hands-on experience in Laravel development.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Experience with software design, development, and testing in a test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
Strong understanding of jQuery for dynamic user interface development.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React).
Solid experience in API integration (e.g., Google APIs, Facebook API, Twitter API, and other third-party integrations).
Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like Eloquent.
Familiarity with the LAMP or LEMP stack environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a resourceful and proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to learn new languages and technologies
Must be FLUENT in spoken and written English.
Proficient in Google Workspace.
Previous graveyard work experience preferred.
Must be able to work a night shift for 8 hours, Monday-Friday.
Must have the following: Own computer unit; Stable lined internet connection (postpaid) and backup; and Backup power supply
