Frontend Developer (Luzon-based only)

Job Summary: The Front-End Web Developer is responsible for merging design and programming to enhance user experiences. This role involves translating UI/UX wireframes into functional code, and collaborating with the UI/UX designer to bridge the gap between design and implementation. Key responsibilities include coding interactive email experiences with HTML/CSS, developing email templates, executing complex email campaigns, and ensuring quality assurance.


Job Description:
We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
Responsibilities will include translating the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and how it works.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive
experiences for email
- Develop/modify email templates and existing campaigns
- Contribute to the continued modernization and evolution of the brand
- Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility
- Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content and flows
- Execute email campaigns with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation, testing protocol,
and technical execution
- Perform QA
- Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices
- Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues
- Proactively work with teammates to improve processes and work methods for greater
efficiency
- Perform coding and database maintenance tasks as required
- Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Experience with UI/UX design and prototyping.
- Strong visual communication skills
- Team player with excellent collaboration abilities.
- Ability to create templates from scratch using Photoshop or Sketch.
- Familiarity with PHP and WordPress is preferred.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a must.
- Experience using Git (Version Control) and NPM is a must.
- Knowledgeable using Vue.js (and other Vue-related plugins) is a must.
- Experience in creating or editing email templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Understanding of Single Page Applications (SPAs) and responsive web design principles.
- Experience in technical documentation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Preference for candidates with 2-4 years of experience.
