Financial Specialist for E-commerce Company (Cashflow, Strategy, Forecasting)

We are a fast-growing e-commerce company based in The Netherlands. While we generate consistent revenue and profit every month, we are struggling with cashflow due to rapid growth and increasing costs.

We are looking for a serious and experienced financial specialist who understands the challenges of e-commerce and can help us build a financially healthy business.

This is not a job for someone who only keeps records. We are looking for someone who creates systems, makes forecasts, helps with cashflow management, and brings strategic thinking to the table.

----About Our Business----

We sell our own branded products via Upgrade to see actual info (main channel)

We are expanding on Amazon and Shopify

We generate additional income through IT/web development and coaching

We already have a Dutch bookkeeper who handles VAT and filing

----Your Role and Responsibilities----

Make monthly and quarterly financial forecasts (cashflow, revenue, expenses)

Create a clear overview of all open debts, upcoming bills, and deadlines

Check incoming invoices for accuracy (price, quantity, payment terms)

Plan which invoices to pay and when, based on financial priorities

Create and implement systems to help us track and improve our financial health

Propose strategic and smart cost-saving measures or payment plans

Actively think with us about improvements, not just execute tasks

Communicate with our Dutch bookkeeper if needed

Help reduce financial stress by organizing our obligations and setting priorities

----Requirements----

Proven experience in e-commerce finance (Upgrade to see actual info experience is a plus)

Strong knowledge of cashflow forecasting, budget planning, and invoice tracking

Ability to create and implement financial systems and processes

Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused

Excellent English communication

Willing to take ownership and responsibility for the company’s financial improvement

Able to provide examples or proof of similar systems or projects you have worked on
