Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Monitor compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for tea
- Support strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive financial initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
*Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in finance or accounting.
*Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
*Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
