JOB OVERVIEW

• Effectively communicate with external and internal partners & customers to provide regular support, troubleshooting and resolution for billing and Customer Service Issues, refunds, adjustments, and disputes.
• Investigate potential credit card fraud cases based on the available information. Analyses several aspects of account history, including payment and transaction history, while attempting to achieve the highest recovery rate possible with minimal losses to the company
• Manage end-to-end Network Dispute process and rules for disputes, including facilitating and managing the arbitration and compliance processes.
• Accounts Receivable reporting and month-end accounting close-related functions where necessary
• Work closely with Operations to assist with executing new product and program launches, setting up customers and billing rates in relevant systems, and reconciling customers' accounts.
• Monitoring and collection of existing client & customer accounts to ensure payments are received within contract terms.
• Analyse and explain variances for scheme settlements.
• Prepare and review general ledger and systems reconciliations, including Sales and Card Liability Reconciliation.
• Maintain SLAs for Finance Administration tasks.
• Support the development of financial processes by working with automation tools to automate data workflows and streamline financial reporting.
• Suggest value-adding and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with and correspond with other departments as a key business partner and support.
• Taking initiative, open to all broader finance responsibilities, projects and other administrative or ad-hoc tasks

What you can demonstrate:
• Previous working experience as a Financial Accountant in a start-up or fast-growth environment
• Good knowledge of Australia Income Tax and BAS.
• Strong reconciliation and data analysis skills.
• Proficient use of NetSuite or similar systems and intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to manage high volumes of transactions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Detailed documentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• The ability to work across multiple locations and time zones.

Your qualifications:
• Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or Economics and, as a plus, ACCA/CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
• A solid understanding of financial statistics, a strong Knowledge and application of accounting standards (AASB/IFRS)
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
