JOB OVERVIEW

We are a leading home care provider with four branches in New South Wales and Queensland, dedicated to serving over 400 clients. We support people with disability and Seniors, keeping them independent in the comfort of their home. As we continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our accounting team in the areas of Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Tax, and Claims. This is a permanent full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Sydney time. Additionally, we offer a unique annual leave scheme that makes our total salary package quite attractive.



RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES



Payroll



Analyse and process payroll and customer invoicing

Ø Ensure all staff timesheets are received.

Ø Check timesheets and confirm bookings

Ø Send out customer invoices

Ø Export payroll records to the general ledger

Ø Reconcile payroll records to the general ledger

Ø Maintain Single Touch payroll records

Ø Generate superannuation payments

Ø Manage Worker's Compensation claims

Ø Generate Separation Certificates

Ø Calculate payroll tax and lodge associated returns

Ø Calculate long service leave (LSL) entitlements and lodge portable LSL returns

Ø Attend to the filing of payroll-related documents



Debtors



Main debtors ledger, customer budgets, customer statements

Ø Debtors Ledger

Ø Generate customer invoices

Ø Amend customer invoices as required.

Ø Receipting

Ø Bank Reconciliation



Creditors



Must have knowledge of Creditors, Bill Payments, Bank Recs, etc

Ø Bill Entry

Ø Bill Payment setup

Ø Bank reconciliations

Ø Accounts payable inbox management



Essential:

Ø Recognised degree in accounting

Ø Experience working as a qualified accountant

Ø Ability to work without supervision and in a team

Ø Well-organised, competent and results-driven

Ø Attention to detail and presentation

Ø Intermediate skills in utilising Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word & Excel



Preferable:

Ø Previous Xero accounting experience

Ø Visicase experience

Ø Previous Australian work experience

Ø Worked with home care providers in Australia.
