Finance / Accounting E-commerce

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee and optimize the financial operations of our e-commerce stores. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing all aspects of financial planning and analysis to ensure the profitability and sustainability of our business.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to monitor financial performance.
- Manage invoice payments and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive cost overview to identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
- Conduct margin analysis to track product profitability and recommend pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain financial controls and reporting systems.
- Reconcile transactions from multiple platforms, including Shopify, PayPal, and Shopify Payments.
- Track advertising spend and ROI from Facebook Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
- Liaise with suppliers to manage payments and cost negotiations.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a finance controller or similar role.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
- Knowledge of payment platforms (PayPal, Shopify Payments) and supplier management.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis, particularly for digital advertising platforms like Facebook Ads and Google Ads.

- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial tools, spreadsheets, and accounting software.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with working with Chinese suppliers and managing international payments.
- Background in cost optimization for e-commerce or similar industries.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
