JOB OVERVIEW

Who We Are:

We’re not your average home interior brand – we’re bold, buzzing, and growing at full speed. Our passion? Crafting top-tier products with an unbeatable customer experience. Creativity and innovation fuel our fire, and our team thrives on fresh ideas, friendly collaboration, and the occasional witty banter. Right now, we’re on the hunt for a visionary FF&E Interior Designer to bring their magic to commercial spaces and help elevate our brand to new heights.

About the Role:

We’re searching for a highly creative and detail-oriented FF&E Interior Designer to lead the charge on our commercial projects. From hotels to offices and retail spaces, you’ll take ownership of the entire FF&E process – from concept development to final execution. You’ll be the mastermind behind the selection and sourcing of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring that each project reflects our brand’s innovative approach while meeting client needs, timelines, and budgets. Your designs will enhance spaces, transform environments, and make lasting impressions.

What You’ll Do:

1. Collaborate with internal product designers, sales teams, and clients to dream up innovative FF&E concepts for commercial interiors.
2. Select, source, and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment that hit all the right notes – brand identity, functionality, and budget.
3. Craft stunning mood boards, material palettes, presentations, and FF&E schedules that bring your vision to life.
4. Partner with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure top-notch quality and cost-effective solutions.
5. Create detailed floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and FF&E specifications to wow clients.
6. Oversee procurement, logistics, and installation, ensuring a flawless design-to-install process.
7. Stay ahead of trends, materials, and design innovations to keep your projects fresh and exciting.
8. Work within project budgets and timelines while keeping your designs both fabulous and feasible.
9. Meet with clients to present concepts, take feedback, and refine your designs for maximum impact.

What You Bring:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of FF&E design experience in the commercial world (hospitality, retail, office spaces – you get it).
3. Expert in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
4. Talent for developing and presenting jaw-dropping concept designs and detailed project documentation.
5. Strong communication skills for keeping clients, consultants, and suppliers on the same page.
6. Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, staying organized and detail-focused from start to finish.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary and benefits package that recognizes your talent.
20 Days paid annual leave.
Australian public holidays off paid.
Room to grow and develop professionally in a dynamic, design-focused environment.

How to Apply:
If you’re ready to make your mark on the commercial design world, we’d love to hear from you! Send your resume, portfolio, and a cover letter outlining your FF&E experience to mishelle@urbanroad.com.au.
