What are the VA's primary responsibilities?
Primary Focus: Web Development & Maintenance
•    Develop, customize, and modify website functionality, themes, and plugins.
•    Ensure website responsiveness, mobile-friendliness, and UI/UX improvements.
•    Troubleshoot and fix website bugs, broken links, and performance issues.
•    Implement new web features and integrations as needed.
•    Update and maintain website design to align with branding and user needs.
Additional Responsibilities: Website Hosting & Server Management
•    Manage web hosting settings (e.g., Lightning Base).
•    Troubleshoot downtime, server-related issues, and DNS configurations.
•    Perform regular website backups and implement recovery plans.
•    Optimize website speed, caching, and performance settings.
SEO & Website Optimization
•    Optimize website structure and content for SEO performance.
•    Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies.
•    Fix technical SEO issues, including site speed, indexing errors, and metadata.
•    Monitor search rankings and analytics using tools like Google Search Console.
Security & Data Protection
•    Implement and manage SSL certificates.
•    Maintain security protocols with firewalls and security plugins
•    Detect and remove malware or potential security threats.
•    Set up and manage user access roles to prevent unauthorized changes.
WordPress & Plugin Management (Including MemberPress)
•    Install, update, and manage WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
•    Troubleshoot MemberPress issues, ensuring smooth subscription-based services.
•    Configure and troubleshoot third-party integrations.
•    Ensure website updates are compatible with existing functionalities.
IT Support & Troubleshooting
•    Diagnose and resolve website errors (e.g., 500 Internal Server Errors).
•    Provide tech support for website-related inquiries.
•    Manage caching, CDN, and performance tools.
Analytics & Performance Monitoring
•    Use Google Analytics to track website traffic and user behavior.
