Experienced Video Editor & Animator Needed

We're currently seeking an exceptionally detail-oriented Video Editor and Animator to enhance our content creation team.

Outcomes of the Job:

You will work with the team to...
• Edit and produce high-quality video content for a variety of platforms
• Create engaging animations and motion graphics that complement our video productions
• Work closely with our team to bring creative visions to life
• Manage post-production tasks, including editing, color grading, and adding effects etc
• Collaborate on storyboarding and conceptualizing video projects
• Ensure all content is on-brand and meets company standards
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously with precise attention to detail
• Any Other Tasks as required

I am looking for someone amazing to work with me long-term. If you are looking for the same old, same old then this won't be for you. We are currently building our team for video editing and production. This will start as gig employment for a trial project or two, but if things go well, we will be looking to move to part-time and full-time employment.

Role Requirements:
• A passion for video editing and animation, with a portfolio to showcase your work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, also Capcut, and other industry-standard software tools
• Implement professional video editing techniques, including trimming, motion graphics, special effects, 2D/3D Animation, timestamps, transitions, text overlays, branding elements, adding background music, and B-roll integration, etc
• Able to source content music and video while understanding free use, copyright, platform regulations, and similar regulations
• Must enjoy working remotely with MINIMAL hand-holding
• Fluent in English for both written communications and phone/meetings
• Prior experience with a Western company (USA, Australia, UK, etc.)
• Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proactive problem solver who can find solutions independently rather than ask questions
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Role Duties Include:
• This is currently a gig role, and if things go well after the gig/trial project, we will be looking to immediately move to part-time and full-time roles (around 40 Hours per week) with more hours as necessary
• Commitment to providing the highest level of support quickly without fuss
• These may be irregular hours (Such as US)
