Experienced Graphic Designer for Print on Demand Products needed

Hi there,

I am Jan, nice to meet you! I founded a brand for personalized gifts in 2019 and I look to expand the small team with an experienced Graphic Designer for our Print on Demand products.

I am looking to build a long-term relationship, supporting your learning and growth.

Your Tasks

1) Creating print-ready Designs in Photoshop based on example from the web or from instructions provided

This includes the research for needed assets like cliparts and fonts (we have subscriptions for freepik, creativefabrica etc.).

2) Transform existing designs for new products

For example transforming the existing design from a two-sided mug to a one-sided acrylic glass. Re-arranging assets, fonts, resizing etc.

3) Creating Simple Mockup-Images

Every design needs to be placed on a mockup image that will later be used as product image in the store. This includes retouching of mockup images, like removing dust from acrylic glass.

4) Creating Static Images for Facebook Ads

Every design needs 1:1 or 9:16 images for Facebook Ads. These are typically created from the mockup images with some text we provide.

5) Collaboration with Store-Setup Specialist

Each new design and product will need the setup in our Store with our setup specialist. He will use your PSD file for the setup and you may need to adjust or answer questions on the file.

Lastly, you will also have a look on the final setup of your design in the store to make sure everything looks as you intended in the PSD (spacings, fonts etc.).

Our Offer
* Flexible working hours: We are in the GMT + 2 timezone, so feedback and calls will be between 8am – 5pm in this timezone, but you can work when it fits your schedule. We will make sure not to plan calls during your usual resting hours, of course.
* Fair Salary: Minimum of $5 per hour, based on your experience and with the opportunity of increasing with time on the team and personal growth.

Your Qualifications
*Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
*Experience: Proven experience as a Print Design Specialist, Graphic Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing print design work.
*Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other design software.
*Knowledge: Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout design.
*Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetically pleasing design.
*Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
*Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
*Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot design and printing issues effectively.
*Availability: 20 hours per week
